The Proctor Cycling Team (www.peoriabicycleclub.com) does a Sat morning ride weather permitting. This is a fast-paced group ride that brings out some of the best cyclists in the area. As weather permits, Sunday morning group rides will be organized and communicated through the club's yahoo group forum. Sign up today to find out when and where we'll be riding.
RUNNING
The Illinois Valley Striders www.ivs.org will start their Building Steam and Team Steam classes in April. If you haven't ever tried Team Steam, you're in for a treat. It is by far the best run training around.
During the Winter, there is a group run on Wednesday nights that leaves from the Peoria Heights Watertower on Prospect at 5:30 PM. There is also a Sunday morning run that leaves from Running Central at 7 AM. IVS does a great job of promoting running in the area. Check out their website for more information.
